alright so today has consisted of…
- peace outside campus rehearsal and gala and iced tea, not necessarily in that order
- wanting to leave said gala and GO HOME
- going home
- going to sunday starbucks and having a hormone-fueled meltdown during which my best friend asked me if i was a lesbian and i decided i have no idea what i want from my life
- coming home and listening to jekyll and hyde music for like the 4th hour today

I'm so glad I play instruments.
Music has given me the opportunity to be a part of so many great experiences, and I’m so grateful for that. Music introduced me to my best, most real and closest friends. Music brought me to Europe. Music showed me the intimacy of chamber music and the awe of symphony, the choreography of instrumental music and the imagination of stage musicals. Music keeps me sane, gives me an outlet I can use just for myself, for no other purpose than to have fun. Music lets me be a part of something greater than myself.
